An international committee composed of GNU/Linux experts from all our trade show locations will develop a number of themes of particular interest to our international visitors. Their efforts will result in a two-day conference and tutorial program featuring expert speakers, tailored to the needs of an international audience.

    April 4th, 2001.
In this session, experts and beginners alike will discover insights into essential trends and get a glimpse of the future of GNU/Linux, Open Source and Free Software. This unique session provides you with a golden opportunity to meet with the world’s top GNU/Linux gurus.

For the second edition of Linux Expo in Madrid we have the pleasure to welcome new Keynotes such as Erich Clementi (VP Enterprise Systems Group, EMEA, IBM), Dirk Hohndel (CTO, SuSE), Miguel De Icaza (CTO, Ximian/Helix Code Inc), Henri Poole (CEO, MandrakeSoft), Richard Curran (Director, Solutions Enabling & Services, Intel EMEA) and Bruno Cornec (Linux Program Manager Europe, Hewlett Packard).

The International and Start-up Pavilion will bring together both foreign and domestic start-up companies, providing them a foothold in the South American market. A fully equipped booth, access to technical presentations and low operating costs are just a few of the solutions that will help ensure a successful presence at Linux Expo Madrid.
